We first met Sister Casilina early in 2016. She is the wife of a Pastor in one of the local villages and truly loves the Lord. They have 15 children, which alone is amazing. One of their adult daughters has a seizure disorder, along with some cognitive delays, so she understands firsthand the difficulties of raising & educating a child with special needs. Throughout the year, she works tirelessly to visit families who have a child with special needs. When we get updates from her, she always tells us of the villages she has visited – on foot! – and the new families that she wants us to meet. God is using her to encourage families who may feel hopeless and who are often isolated. She is such a blessing to many and we are incredibly thankful for her partnership and obedience to what God is doing in the Toledo District of Belize.
