03. Go
We take teams 3-4 times a year to actively engage families and communities. Through building relationships, we are able to share the gospel and empower families and communities with strategies to help their children. If you have a desire to make a hands on impact, we would love to talk with you. We’re always seeking Therapists, ASL interpreters, Special Education Teachers, Parents of a child with special needs and anyone who has a passion to partner with us in this way.

04. Locally
If you would like to be involved on a more regular basis locally, we would love to help match you to an opportunity that is in line with your gifts & talents.
Team On Location
Teams consist of people who have a heart to serve those impacted by disabilities
Often we have therapists and special education teachers who travel with us
Home visits are frequently part of what a team will do; sometimes that involves 2 hours on a rough dirt road, muddy in the rainy season; on those home visit trips, we?ll often eat a picnic lunch in the village, sometimes it?s making PB&J by the riverside
Our primary goals for home visits are to share the love of Jesus, help families understand the potential and purpose that their loved one has, and help with tools/strategies for their loved one to be successful and function as independently as possible at home and in life
We generally take teams 3-4 times per year
Being part of a team is a great way to grow closer to the Lord
Our teams stay in a comfortable dorm on the campus of the Toledo Learning Center, Belize Bible College and Yemeri Grove Christian Church – a lot of beautiful ministry happens on that campus
Ms Brigid prepares delicious meals for us, we have comfortable sleeping arrangements and we get to enjoy beautiful sunrises as parrots and toucans fly overhead
Teams often help EPP Ministries host Camp Unite – this is a half day camp where individuals impacted by disability get to come and have fun, learn more about Jesus and work on some functional life skills. When we have therapists on our team, families can learn therapeutic exercises to help their child at home. We often create opportunities for parents to have a time of connection with others. We?ve had some amazing sewing instruction the past year and a half also, resulting in some cool products we hope to sell in the future.
We?ve been serving in this area of Belize since 2016 and have developed some great relationships and established trust between our teams and the families
Teams also partner with the Ministry of Education to provide support to teachers in the Toledo District through professional development workshops, assisting with assessments, and sharing tools/strategies to help instruct students in their classrooms
