Terri Fowler

Founder

Terri is a wife and mom to 2 incredible young adult children. She loves to travel, spend time outdoors hiking or paddleboarding and loves watching football and lacrosse. Terri has been in the special education world for 28 years and absolutely loves getting to interact with a really great group of people. Terri?s background is early childhood regular & special education. She has a bachelor degree from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) and a Master?s degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has held many roles over the course of her career, most recently leading a Special Needs Ministry team within her church. Terri loves being part of EPP Ministries because it allows her to share the love of Jesus with people in other countries where those around them often make them feel unloved and unvalued. She wants every person impacted by special needs to know that God created them, loves them dearly, and has a purpose for them.

Board Member

Karen loves being a wife and mother, and her greatest joy is being Mamu to her two grandsons. She enjoys reading, drawing, and baking. She worked for 10 years as a teacher for children with learning disabilities, going on to write curriculum and lead a disability ministry at her church for 26 years.

Karen believes that every person has purpose, and her time working with EPP has given her the opportunity to share that the Lord has purpose for each person in Belize, regardless of their ability. EPP is sharing God?s love and plan for purpose with individuals impacted by disability who have never heard this message. She feels it is a privilege to be part of an organization that shares such a life-changing message, and comes alongside families to share Jesus? love with them.

Married for 32 years to my wonderful husband and we have three adult children, one son-in-law, and one precious granddaughter and a grandson on the way! I love to spend time with my family, especially around the water, the beach, snorkeling, floating the river or just hanging out in the pool.

I have an associates degree in interpreting and have worked in the field of interpreting in many capacities for the past 21 years.

EPP Ministries is so special to me because it has combined my love for missions and interpreting together in a beautiful place to minister to those in need. This work is so important because I believe Christ has called us to love one another and to encourage one another on this journey. We all have a purpose and we can help each other find and fulfill that purpose here on earth, but ultimately we will be together around His throne for eternity!

I’m a wife and mom of two amazing daughters, and my family is the most important part of my life. I love crocheting, diving into a good book (especially with my book club), puttering in my garden and spending time outside with my family, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying nature. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and have worked in various accounting roles across different industries. I also serve as a volunteer coordinator at our local food pantry, which is a big commitment for me but one that?s really rewarding. It?s my way of giving back to the community that means so much to me. I?m all about being kind, encouraging others, and being helpful in any way I can. Being part of EPP Ministries means a lot to me. It?s a chance to help make education more accessible to everyone, and I?m committed to doing that while striving to honor God?s Fruit of the Spirit in everything I do.
